12-30-12: First Day of Rehearsal. I woke up with three ribs popped out. Soaked in a tub, had a doc pop them back in and went off to work. No sick days in show business.
This is what you don’t see on camera. When you guys are looking at me, I’m looking at them: my awesome camera crew!
Whenever you see someone on camera looking off like this, they are looking at themselves in their monitor.
I paparazzi’d Ryan during rehearsal.
Got bored during rehearsal so took this pic with fans.
I was pooped; couldn’t rehearse anymore. But while I was down there, I came up with a great idea for the show. You will see later.
12-31-12: Show Day! Had my whole family there for support and to help ring in the new year.
I finally got my buckets of make up put on and headed out to the street where one million freezing, starving and drunk people were having the time of their lives.
Me and my sister Jojo. We grew up promising each other we would work together so we could be near each other. Our promises came to fruition. She has been my makeup artist for 16 years and she is one of the most sought after makeup artists in Hollywood. So proud.
Jojo and I tried to find a private spot to do touch-ups, but when you are surrounded by a million people, it’s a little tough.
I scored an interview with Justin Bieber. People kept saying he was fake, but I found him to be really genuine.
I ran a contest on who I should kiss at midnight: a military boy, fireman, or “Average Joe.” I’m happy to say the military boy won and it honestly was one of the most romantic kisses I’ve ever had. Wish he was in my senior citizen age group. Don’t think I can cougar that one.
This is my favorite pic of all time. Evan was with my mom a block away from me in Times Square. I can’t imagine what he was thinking when the ball dropped, but this picture pretty much says it all.
People actually thought I was drunk on TV when I rolled around with Bieber on the street, but sadly I wasn’t. This is just a typical Jenny McCarthy concept. No need to add alcohol for a good time.
Taylor swift performed on our show. This is a pic of the back of her head. Notice her security guard looking at me on the left side. Looks like I’m going get in trouble, trouble, trouble.
Most people stop partying by 2 a.m. on New Years Eve. Not me; I have to start at 2 a.m. so I, too, can suffer with the rest of the world on National Hangover Day.
Happy New Year, everyone. Hope your 2013 rocks!
