Two friends put their heads together to give brands soul

Ages: Schlesinger (left), 27, and Cavanaugh (right), 26.  Live in: Schlesinger, River North, and Cavanaugh, Boulder, Colorado.  Claims-to-fame: Co-founders of Vibe Tribe (Vibetribecreative.com), a branding, visual and website design company.  Meeting of the minds: The two met through a marketing internship straight out of college, and reconnected two years later. Cavanaugh had just reached out to Giuliana Rancic’s manager about redoing the “E!” star’s website. “I thought it didn’t represent the many hats that she wore — a mom, entrepreneur, the culinary side, a cancer survivor,” Cavanaugh says. “The more conversations [Schlensinger] and I had, the more we realized [website design] could be something that could evolve into a company.”  What they do: Cavanaugh — who previously worked as a photographer for companies like Protein Bar and Soho Beach House in Miami — focuses on the visual side, and shares all the photo shoot preparation, styling and execution with Schlesinger, who has a background in digital marketing. “We offer website design, photography, creative strategy and planning, social media [and] custom graphics,” Schlesinger says. “If there is a creative project, we’ll do it. We dive into anything that has a creative angle for us to add value to.”  Big names: After scoring a partnership with Rancic, the girls landed another “E!” client: Catt Sadler. “We launched her website earlier this year and work with her on a consistent basis to style and shoot photography for her social media, blog [and] website,” Cavanaugh says. Other clients include HI-VIBE Superfood Juicery in River North, the Food Network’s Nikki Martin and “The Bachelor’s” Jennifer Saviano.  In the works: The pair just launched a yoga experience called the Dream Seek Retreat, in collaboration with Mary Tilson Yoga. “We are offering an amazing experience in Nicaragua encompassing [all things] wellness. It is a forum for dreamers to tap into their passions,” Schlesinger says. “We are self-taught and trained ourselves. Even if you go to school for one thing, it doesn’t mean you are boxed into that life. Nothing is impossible.”  A place of inspiration: Where do the partners go to get their creative juices flowing? “Heritage Bicycles [2959 N. Lincoln] — I love the energy,” Schlesinger says. “Bikes are rolling in as you’re working and the coffee is delicious.”
