Most people take months to say those three magic words. Nick Jancovic, however, said them the night he met Sararose Krenger It was June 2012, and Krenger was celebrating her birthday with girlfriends at Beaumont Bar & Grill (2020 N. Halsted), when she met Jancovic, 32, owner of Einstein Plumbing USA. “I made him buy all of my friends drinks,” laughs the bride, 28, owner of boutique Sararose on Oak (67 E. Oak). “He blurted out ‘I love you’ that night. I think we both knew pretty quickly we would end up getting married.”
Jancovic proposed in November 2015 at Epcot in Disney World, and on Sept. 24, the couple wed at the bride’s grandparents’ home, Sanctuary Farm (911 S. Fleming, Bull Valley). Opting for a non-traditional wedding, the pair incorporated Native American ceremony rituals, like sage cleansing and walking around a fire reciting vows.
After indulging in an all-vegan dinner by Moveable Feast + Co., the newlyweds and their 250 guests sat around the fire, and camped out in tents to cap off the weekend.
