The Junior Council’s Snowball
On Jan. 28, the city showed its support for the pediatric and adolescent AIDS/HIV programs at The Ann & Robert. H Lurie Children’s Hospital during the annual bash. Chicago’s skyline was ablaze red, Crain’s Communication’s Building featured “JC FTK” (Junior Council #ForTheKids) across its diamond-shaped roof, and FOX and WGN covered the party in live television segments. More than 2,300 partygoers helped raise $240,000 — the Council’s largest donation to date — at The Field Museum (1400 S. Lakeshore).
