Guests enjoyed Chicago’s rich culinary scene at the 20th anniversary celebration, which featured 50 of the best chefs and mixologists in the city, at Navy Pier’s Grand Ballroom (600 E. Grand) Feb. 3. Host Jeff Mauro of The Food Network honored Richard Melman, founder and chairman of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, with the Chicago Classic Award. Later, The Bristol’s Chef Chris Pandel treated partygoers to a unique three-course meal themed An Evening at Le Francais, featuring dill Scottish smoked salmon maki rolls and fried leeks, venison with a chestnut confit and macarons. A “Nitecap” of desserts and drinks closed the evening, which raised $670,000 for the foundation.
