Late-night funnyman James Corden swapped his talk-show set for the Field Museum (1400 Lake Shore) April 22 when he emceed the 11th annual gala. Nearly 1100 guests — including Mayor Rahm Emanuel — turned out in black-tie to honor Advocate Health Care, which took home the Corporate Partnership Award for its leadership and fundraising support. The event — chaired by Dennis and Rebecca Muilenburg — raised a record-breaking $6 million, which will fund cancer research and support.
