Ever After: Elizabeth Anastos & Ethan Holmes

By / Weddings / June 22, 2017

For her May 27 wedding, Elizabeth Anastos created the French and English garden setting of her dreams. Blush and ivory roses and pale blue hydrangeas hugged floral archways, intertwined in chandeliers and were strewn along the aisle as the 25-year-old fine-art appraiser married her boyfriend of three years, Ethan Holmes, 27, who works in Washington, D.C.

Following their ceremony at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church (1401 Wagner, Glenview), the couple rode in a white 1936 Rolls-Royce to Sunset Ridge Country Club (2100 Sunset Ridge, Northfield), where a flower wall served as the backdrop to the photobooth. “Our photographer created a guest book with images [from the booth],” she says. “We had so many that we ran out of pages.”

The bride’s triplet brothers took the stage with their rock band, Triple A, before their 280 guests left with bombonieres fit for the occasion: a clay pot filled with five Jordan almonds (a Greek tradition) and a paper flower.
