The holidays are officially upon us, so bring on the finger sandwiches, bite-sized pastries and Earl Grey with … gin?
That’s right, Torali Italian – Steak (160 E. Pearson), The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago’s 12th floor eatery, just launched an adult take on the afternoon holiday tradition: booze-infused tea. Our favorites? Honey bourbon chai and Elderflower Fizz with vodka, St-Germain, chamomile syrup, prosecco and a lemon twist.
Highlights from the food menu include house-smoked salmon and curried chicken salad finger sandwiches, and sweet treats like apple mousse cake and chocolate canolos.
Torali’s tea service ($65 for adults/$35 for kids) runs Fridays through Sundays (12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) through January 7. For reservations, call (312) 573-5160 or visit Toralichicago.com.
