Fashion Recap: American Music Awards 2017

By / Style & Beauty / November 20, 2017
The 45th annual American Music Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last night, and these best-dressed looks were the most exciting part — except maybe Pink’s gravity-defying performance.

Heidi Klum gave us a seriously stylish #TBT with this vintage 1990s Gianni Versace gown and strappy pink sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Renaissance woman Ciara really can do it all, including pulling off this futuristic Alexander Vaultier all-black look with a fresh-out-the-shower hair style.

Channing Tatum’s wifey Jenna Dewan-Tatum shimmered in a gold Julien MacDonald dress.

Demi Lovato performed her unapologetic hit “Sorry Not Sorry,” but that’s not the only thing she rocked. On the red carpet, she wore a Ester Abner sheer strapless gown and Gismondo 1754 earrings with more than 30 carats of diamonds.

If you can’t come to the red carpet, then the red carpet will come to you. Though Lady Gaga couldn’t attend the AMA’s, she honored the late Azzedine Alaïa and posed on a mini red carpet backstage before performing a show in Washington, D.C.

Disney Channel star Laura Marano dazzled in a red Stella McCartney number while co-hosting the red carpet pre-show.

Kelly Rowland brought some serious Hollywood hippie vibes in a Galia Lahav velvet floral-print gown with mesh black sleeves.

“Billy on the Street” comedian Billy Eichner swapped out his regular hoodie and jeans look for a plum Paul Smith suit and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Debuting her platinum blonde hair, Selena Gomez stepped out in a leather Coach minidress with Roberto Coin jewelry.

Hailee Steinfeld suited up for the occasion, wearing an ‘80s-style Mugler blazer (shoulder pads included) and slicked-back hair.
