The Parisian fashion house celebrated its largest store opening of 2017 right here in Chicago this month. On Nov. 16, Louis Vuitton (919 N. Michigan) swung open the doors to 400 guests — including Toni and Rick Canada, Rochelle Trotter and “Chicago P.D.” actor LaRoyce Hawkins — to unveil a massive renovation. Hosted by LV’s CEO Lanessa Elrod and Regional VP Thomas Haupt and Vanity Fair Fashion Director Michael Carl, the event featured a bubbly bar and LV-monogrammed DJ booth in the Peter Marino-designed space. Guests also got a sneak peek of the brand’s new handbags — the Petite Malle and Twist PM — exclusive to the Chicago store.
