Chicago’s newest dining destination is Marchesa, a stylish River North restaurant to see and be seen at. Opened by Kathryn Sullivan-Alvera and Jason Clark, the hot spot serves upscale European cuisine — think French, Spanish and Italian dishes — on three elegant floors. The ground-level main dining salon is an art deco dream, with intimate tables and brass embellishments, and two additional floors offer boho-chic cocktail areas. The grand opening Jan. 18 was a fittingly decadent affair, with gorgeous decor, an A-list crowd and lively entertainment. 535 N. Wells; Marchesachicago.com
