The seemingly never-ending tundra that is Chicago winter has us reminiscing about warmer days and bright flowers. So with spring on the horizon, we’re taking a look back at some favorite colorful wedding bouquets we’ve featured in the past.
We love the mix of pink and purple in Grace Marsh and Marcus Maier’s blooms. Deininger Floral Shop combined white peonies with lavender and white garden roses, purple lisianthus and freesia and pink astilbe to create the unique bouquets.
Lake Michigan was a lovely backdrop for Kati Olson and David Lidstrom’s bright bouquets of red and coral charm peonies, heart roses, dahlias, scabiosa and Italian ruscus from Twigs Florist.
This big bouquet of peonies, roses, lilies and astilbe that HMR Designs created for Jessica Callahan and Evan Dadowsky’s July wedding has us dreaming of summer in the city.
BRB, taking a quick vacay after looking back on this beautiful wedding in Mexico. The combo of pink, white and peach roses, ranunculus and peonies were a gorgeous touch at Andrea Riedl and Douglas Sidle’s San José del Cabo nuptials.
The bouquet of pastels Juliet Tan Floral Design made for Cheryl Pearson-McNeil and Albert R. Grace Jr.’s big day almost reaches the ground — it’s extra in all the right ways.
No flower says “summer” like a sunflower. We love how Flowers for Dreams incorporated the beauties into Erin Fetzer and Casey Janick’s reception at Navy Pier’s Crystal Gardens.
