Award-winning chef Bill Kim kicks off barbecue season with his first cookbook, Korean BBQ: Master Your Grill in Seven Sauces, out April 17.
Kim — a Charlie Trotter’s alum and owner of Urbanbelly, bellyQ and Belly Shack — teamed up with Plate magazine editor Chandra Ram to pen this guide to grilling Korean barbecue dishes.
Weaving in his personal history — his family moved to the Midwest from Korea at age 7 — Kim shares more than 80 recipes, including seven sauces, three spice mixes and dozens of mouthwatering dishes, like his finger-licking Kori-can pork chops.
