More than 300 guests joined shoe designer Brian Atwood for a luncheon at the Chicago History Museum (1601 N. Clark) May 30. After lunch, Splash’s Susanna Homan led a conversation with the designer about his life and career in fashion. The afternoon — co-chaired by Atwood’s mother, Dusty Stemer, and Costume Council members Toni Canada and Melissa Skoog — was a huge success, raising more than $30,000 to support the Costume Council.
