Last month, the Misericordia Women’s Auxiliary held a special evening to raise money for and celebrate Misericordia’s beloved community of care for those with developmental disabilities. More than 550 supporters gathered for food, drinks, and fashion at Ravenswood Event Center. The Misericordia Heartbreakers performed “Chicago” to kick off the night and Sister Rosemary Connelly followed with a message of love and inclusion for the over 600 children and adults who call Misericordia home. Summer styles from Bloomingdales Old Orchard came down the runway in a fashion show produced by Amy Olson, after which the evening hit a high note with Howl at the Moon dueling pianos taking center stage. The event raised more than $250,000 for Misericordia and was chaired by Bridie Maloney and Amanda Sundt and overseen by President Susanne Hardy.
