Last month, nearly 1,000 guests came together at Revel Fulton Market to commemorate World AIDS Day — and they did so in the sweetest of ways. Seventeen area chocolatiers and confectioners, including Terry’s Toffee and Noir d’Ebène Chocolat et Patissserie, treated partygoers to their creations. The setting was eye candy: Kehoe Designs dreamed up an environment that evoked the glamour of a 1940s ocean liner cruise. Close to $200,000 was raised to support the vital services AFC provides to thousands of Chicagoans each year, from housing to medical training to case-management services.
