Some things go together like black and white — in this case, it’s the limitless generosity and standout style of more than 200 guests who came out for Fabulous 5, the Women’s Auxiliary Board of Ronald McDonald House’s fifth annual cocktail party September 24 at Hubbard Inn (110 W. Hubbard). Hosted by Carol Beitler, Lesley Prizant Goodman and Nina Mariano, the bash shattered fundraising records, raising more than $50,000 for the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children’s (211 E. Grand), which provides a home away from home for families of children receiving treatment. Bottom line: There’s no gray area when it comes to helping families in need.
