More than 600 guests worked their magic at the second annual bash at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park (200 N. Columbus) March 5. Joined by Chicago Blackhawk Niklas Hjalmarsson, attendees enjoyed dinner, danced to Grammy award-winning DJ Maurice Joshua and honored loved ones affected by cancer by creating luminary bags. The evening raised more than $1 million for Camp Kesem, which supports children through and beyond a parent’s cancer.
Splash was the media sponsor of this event. The Sun-Times Foundation and the Chicago Community Trust will match every dollar donated to Camp Kesem up to a total of $10,000. Up to $1,000 can be matched per individual donation.
